Aventon Companies says it has broken ground on its first luxury apartment community in South Carolina, near Charleston.
Aventon Bees Ferry is a 30-acre project with 394 units, dining and shopping space including the downtown Charleston peninsula. The plan also includes a community clubhouse and a secondary courtyard. Each of the four-story buildings are expected to be completed in early 2024.
“With Charleston consistently experiencing year-over-year employment growth while seeing its economy and tourism industry reach unparalleled heights, Aventon decided to launch our first project in South Carolina here. South Carolina is a key part of our regional growth plan,” said Ron Perera, senior managing director.
The buildings were designed by Charlotte, NC-based Watts Leaf Architects, with interior design by Studio 5 Interiors, Inc. Landscaping and hardscaping was designed by local South Carolina firm, Thomas & Hutton.
