At the annual Associated Builders and Contractors of America (ABC) Carolinas Construction Conference, Ryan Wathen from Rodgers (above) received ABC’s Kirby award for outstanding service and commitment and Bill Caldwell of Waldrop (below) received the Brokke award for his contributions to ABC and the construction industry.

The annual conference, this year in Charleston, SC from Aug. 2 to 4, also included a keynote speech by South Carolina governor candidate Catherine Templeton, golf, an inshore sea fishing tournament and a Political Action Committee (PAC) reception with SC congressman Mark Sanford.

Wayne Colter of Colter Electric took home first place the fishing tournament, while second place went to our youngest fisher ever, 9-year-old Reagan Lindholm, daughter of Ray Lindholm from Faulconer Construction.
