ABC of the Carolinas and Carolinas Construction Institute announced the program at the 4th Annual ABCC Safety Conference to be held on October 3 and 4 at the Speedway Club in Concord, NC. On October 3, ABC will host a blood drive from 3 pm-5 pm. The same evening the ABC Charlotte Council Social will be held from 5 pm-7 pm.
October 3 breakout sessions include New Hire Safety Orientation, NCDOL Carolina Star Program, SC OSHA, Managing Stress, Risk, Employee Privacy & Workers’ Comp, Safety Meetings, Hazard Communication Standard, Emergency Education Training and Office Safety.
The keynote speakers on Friday, October 4 will be Rear Admiral Morton, NAVFAC and NC Commissioner of Labor Cherie Berry, Friday sessions include: STEP Award Presentations, Preventative Health & Safety, Office Safety & Compliance, Innovations, Hazard Communication Standard, Emergency Educational Training, Defensive Driving, and Protecting Your Jobsite.
