Lincoln Harris is seeking rezoning approval for a huge mixed-use development at the former Charlotte Golf Links property in south Charlotte, reports Charlotte Business Journal.
The project could include up to 900,000 sq. ft. of office and retail space, a new K-8 magnet school, a recreational facility, multifamily units, single-family homes and senior living units, according to the newspaper.
The 188-acre property is at the intersection of Providence and Ardrey Kell roads and is owned by the Rea family. Lincoln Harris is working with the family on evaluating development options for the land and is handling the rezoning process.
