Contractor Beverly-Grant Inc. of Asheville has applied for a $21.4 million building permit to construct the new Edneyville Elementary School in Henderson. Barnhill Contracting Company says on its webpage that it is the “construction manager at risk” for the project.
The 86,896 sq. ft. school at 2875 Pace Rd. will accommodate a maximum of 600 students, with a private septic system, according to building permit data provided by BuildZoom.com.
Clark Nexsen designed the new building, which should be ready for the 2019 school year. The existing building will be torn down.
