Construction firm Robins & Morton joined Duke Health to celebrate the topping out of the new Duke Health Cary B200 building Nov. 19 in Cary, a significant milestone, signifying the structural completion of the project.

Robins & Morton is the general contractor for the project. HKS is the architect.

“Completing the structural framework of this facility is a significant milestone in our mission to bring leading healthcare closer to growing Wake County communities,” said Julie Somarriba, Duke Health Project Executive.

The five-story, 111,014-sq. ft. expansion facility will add hospital services at the existing location, providing access to world-class care closer to the rapidly growing population in Wake County. Some of the services include an emergency department, ambulatory surgery, specialty care, and infusion services.

“We are excited to reach this important milestone on this project that will provide healthcare services to our Cary community for many years to come,” Robins & Morton Operations Manager Mike Dare said.

The project is scheduled to be completed in 2027.
