Skanska USA, in partnership with Clancy & Theys and DA Everett, is inviting HUB- and SBE-certified businesses to a subcontractor outreach and information session as it prepares to launch construction on the new Red Hat Amphitheater in downtown Raleigh.
The event will take place at the Raleigh Convention Center Aug. 13 at 4 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with project teams, learn about the scope of the relocation, and explore upcoming subcontracting and bidding opportunities.
“This is a great chance to get to know our teams and learn more about how to get involved—not just on the Red Hat Amphitheater project, but also other opportunities in the Raleigh-Durham area,” said a representative from Skanska’s Subcontractor Engagement team.
Pre-bid packages for the project are scheduled to be released on Aug. 18, with bids due in mid-September.
The new permanent Red Hat Amphitheater will feature a 6,100-person capacity with enhanced amenities. Work will start on the Convention Center expansion, set for completion in 2028 to add 118,000-SF of rentable space, including two flex halls and additional meeting areas, bringing the total expansion to approximately 325,500-sq. ft.
