Raleigh-based David Allen Co. has turned its attention from marble and terrazzo floors to the roof of the company’s headquarters.

The Triangle Business Journal reports the marble, granite, tile and terrazzo supplier recently flipped the switch on a photovoltaic solar energy facility that is one of the largest rooftop photovoltaic systems in the Triangle. Peak Solar Investors LLC is a company created in 2010 by the principals of residential land development company Five Star Development of NC to help clients take advantage of tax incentives in the renewable energy market.
