Lincoln Harris is preparing to begin the second phase of its uptown mixed-use development called Legacy Union in Charlotte.

The 18-story tower, 650 South Tryon, features a sleek glass-and-steel design. It will complement the 33-story Bank of America Tower, which is nearing completion on the 10-acre Legacy Union site located on uptown’s southern perimeter with easy access to Interstate 277.

Legacy Union, bordered by South Tryon, Stonewall, Mint and Hill streets, will offer a mix of Class-A office space, retail, residential and hospitality space as well as a large pedestrian plaza and green space.

Approximately 270,000 sq. ft. of office space is still available at 650 South Tryon, which will be managed and leased by Lincoln Harris.

LS3P is the project’s architect, while contractors include Gilbane and Shelco.
