Julian Arcila is stepping down as executive director of the Hispanic Contractors of the Carolinas (HCAC).
In a note to “members, sponsors and community partners” he writes: “The most important lesson that I take with me is the value of always dedicating time to help others.”
The HCAC has grown significantly in the past six years and I am certain that the association and its membership will continue growing in the coming years. The Board of Directors will be placing a search for a new Executive Director. In the meantime, you can continue to contact the main office. Lissette, Allison and Luisa will continue to provide excellent support and keep our many programs and events running.
In his note Arcila says he will be following his own advice to members to “follow their entrepreneurial spirit” in establishing his own Charlotte-area consulting business. He writes that he will be dedicating time to Signalis Group, a marketing and communications consultancy.
The HCAC’s board of directors will be conducting a search for a new executive officer.
