The four-story structure, built by Metcon Buildings and Infrastructure of Pembroke, spans 87,930 sq. ft. and includes 336 double-occupancy rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom. Constructed with a steel frame on a concrete slab foundation, the hall provides a modern and welcoming environment for FSU’s growing student population.a full-size kitchen, a large laundry room, multiple study rooms on every floor, and breakout lounges designed for relaxation and informal socializing.

“This new residence hall is more than just brick and mortar,” said Dr. Juanette Council, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. “It is a powerful investment in our students and their success at Fayetteville State University. Somewhere within these walls, dreams will be realized.”

Chancellor Darrell T. Allison highlighted the origin of the building’s name, emphasizing student involvement. “It wasn’t the chancellor, nor the Board of Trustees, nor the administration that mandated the name of this new residence,” Allison said. “It truly originated from the hearts, minds, and spirits of our students.”<

Bronco Pride Hall represents a significant step forward for FSU as it continues to enhance its campus infrastructure to meet the needs of a growing and dynamic student body.
