CRSMA’s 2015 Mid-Winter Roofing Expo hosts 86 booths, more than 80 companies

The Carolinas Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association, Inc. (CRSMCA) has held the 59th Carolinas Mid-Winter Roofing Expo at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte.

There were 86 booths with over 80 companies represented to demonstrate their latest equipment, products and materials for the roofing industry. Attendance increased by 15 per cent from the 2014 expo, with more than 500 attendees (almost 250 contractors represented, plus 255 suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, and architects/engineers).

Special guest presenters included Mark Graham, NRCA Technical Services; Steven McCabe, GAF Materials Corporation; Raymond Heisley, roof sales manager for RCI Carolinas Chapter, and Andy Anderson, Anderson Jones PLLC.

The CRSMCA Roofing Academy presented its first class for the Master Installer Certification Program with more than 20 student enrolments. NCDOL/OSH presented the OSHA 10-hour general industry class in English and Spanish with maximum seating capacity of almost 100 enrolments.

Next year’s  CRSMCA Carolina’s Mid-Winter Expo has been scheduled for Jan. 19 -21,2016 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in Columbia, South Carolina.
