The governors of both North and South Carolina, along with Sen. Lindsay Graham, the North Carolina Speaker, and two economists will be speaking at the annual Carolinas Associated General Contractors (CAGC) Summit on Friday.
This year, reflecting the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic restricting in-person events, the half-day summit will be in a virtual format — and it will be free for CAGC members, the association says.
North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster and North Carolina Speaker of the House Tim Moore will be speaking, as will South Carolina Sen. Lindsay Graham and NC State Economist Mike Walden, who will deliver the keynote address, CAGC says. The association says other speakers may be participating as well.
