The 2013 Best Construction Blog nomination deadline is Thursday, January 31. So far, 19 blogs have been nominated, and I expect there will be more entries before month’s end. You can nominate your own blog, or any that you like. The entry qualifications are simple: The blog should be written by someone within the architectural, engineering and construction community and be properly maintained and updated (generally, the blogger should post weekly, or if less fequently, consistently over a longer period). If the blog appears to be a “splog” (spam-blog) or is intended exclusively for search engine optimization, it will be disqualified.
All qualified blogs will receive a free positive write-up in the Construction Marketing Ideas blog, with hyperlinks. Blogs are judged through a combination of independent judges and popular vote through March and April. There is no cost to enter the competition. You can see current nominees here.
