Beacon Properties Group plans to turn an abandoned lot on North Greensboro St. in Carrboro into a usable site.
Triangle Business Journal reports that the Chapel Hill-based development company filed plans for a three-story building at 201 North Greensboro St. The proposed mixed-use development would cover the half-acre site at the corner of West Weaver St.
The developer is planning to construct ground-floor restaurant retail space, with office space in the upper two floors.
Beacon has submitted its conditional use permit for the building. Construction is expected by the mid-2021 and complete in 2022, according to the Journal.
