It’s a “speed networking” opportunity for speciality contractors and suppliers. The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Triangle Council has scheduled an ABC “Meet the Generals Night” in Cary on April 6.
“ABC Meet the Generals night is a speed networking and social event that offers you a, one to one opportunity with each general contractor,” ABC reports in its eletter. “Representatives from industry leading contractor firms will be available to discuss upcoming projects, qualifications to bid, and their business philosophies and practices. Each general contractor will be at a table to visit with specialty contractors. Bring plenty of business cards.”
For associates and suppliers, “you will have a table set up in the same room as the speed networking. Purchasing Showcase booth space provides: A table for table top displays and Showcase exhibitors will be listed in the program.”
“Each attendee is give a punch card with your company logo on it, and they will be coming around throughout the night to get your signatures and enter for the raffles. We do ask that each vendor showcase bring a raffle to raffle off throughout the night.”
Set up at the Embassy Suites Cary, 201 Harrison Oaks Blvd., starts at 2:30, with networking from 4 p.m. to 7. p.m.
A maximum of two representatives from each speciality contractor are allowed to attend. The fee is $100 per representative. Registration information and form is here.
Vendor showcase representatives pay $200 per table (one representative) plus an additional $100 for a second representative.
