The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of the Carolinas has decided to postpone its November convention until next summer, because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

ABC Carolinas says it “values the safety and health of our members, guests and staff. Given the current health situation and gathering restrictions issued and currently maintained by both North Carolina and South Carolina, coupled with the further meeting room attendance restrictions imposed by the resort, the Board of Directors discussed at length our 2020 Convention in November.

“After careful consideration we have thoughtfully decided to further reschedule this event to 2021. Our focus now is on creating a fun and energetic experience for our Summer Conference in 2021.”
The association says it encourages members to participate in smaller activities including Regional Council socials, as well as our virtual Town Hall meetings. “ABC’s goal is to bring valuable information to our members and to continue to offer safe networking events while respecting North Carolina and South Carolina restrictions,” the statement says.
