Toll Brothers Apartment Living has started construction on The Airedale, a 350-unit luxury apartment community in Charlotte’s Steele Creek neighborhood, marking the company’s first multifamily development in North Carolina.
“We are excited to officially break ground at The Airedale, our first multifamily community in North Carolina,” Toll Brothers Apartment Living president John McCullough said in a statement. “Toll Brothers Apartment Living is known for building extraordinary communities in thriving locations, and The Airedale will set a new standard for luxury living in Charlotte.”
The project, on a 19.75-acre site at 13607 Choate Circle, will feature apartments with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, smart home technology, modular closets, private balconies and kitchen islands. Planned amenities include an 8,200-square-foot clubhouse, a pool with sundeck, outdoor grilling areas, a 24-hour gym, an outdoor fitness space, a pet park, coworking suites, a catering kitchen and a coffee bar.
Located near the RiverGate Shopping Center and Steele Creek Crossing, the site offers access to Interstates 77 and 485, connecting residents to South End, Uptown Charlotte and regional job centers.
“The Airedale represents our commitment to delivering thoughtfully designed communities with elevated living experiences,” said Michael Skena, the company’s mid-Atlantic region managing director. “With modern residences, best-in-class amenities, and a location that puts the best of Steele Creek and Charlotte within reach, The Airedale will offer residents a community defined by comfort, style, and convenience.”

Good morning. I am reaching out to introduce myself. I am the local sales rep for the Carolinas and Virginia. I’m inquiring about any upcoming Senior Living/Hotel/Multifamily projects going on out here in the Carolinas and Virginia. DK Painting is a nationwide painting company who’s been in business since 1986. We would love the opportunity to bid on any of your upcoming projects. Could you please point me in the right direction on who I could speak with about getting approved as a new sub? Addition to that I would love to bring you/team breakfast sometime in the near future to meet you personally. Is there a day you have available at the end of the month? I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you,
