Friday is deadline to apply for EIC awards
The 2012 Associated Builders & Contractors of the Carolinas’ Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards competition season has begun. The EIC awards program allows ABC contractors and specialty contractors the opportunity to celebrate and project’s team collaboration and recognize employee professionalism in completing complex projects. Project entry applications and payment are due Friday, August 31st. Please take note of important EIC dates: Friday, August 31st – Applications Due; Monday, October 1st – Entry Binders Due; Thursday, November 15th – EIC Awards Banquet.
The 21-story Creek Tower at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and Hotel built by Turner Construction won the 2011 GC Project of the Year Award. Adams Electric Company won the 2011 Specialty Project of the Year Award for the Carolinas Medical Center’s Main Surgical Services project.
