David Allen Company announced that it recently presented its 18th Annual Design School Scholarship.
The company awarded a $5,000 scholarship to a gifted and promising architectural student at the North Carolina State University College of Architecture.
This year, Larry Carr, who has been identified by the Design School faculty as a promising leader in architecture, received the 2014 award, which was presented by Mike Norton, director of contract procurement.
The Dean of the college is responsible for making the selection to either a graduate or an undergraduate student.
David Allen Company is engaged in promoting the use of tile, marble and terrazzo through its relationship with and support of architectural and design schools.
