2015 Divisions’ Conference & Construction Industry Summit coming to Greenville, SC

Carolinas Associated General Contractors (CAGC) will host the 2015 Divisions’ Conference and Construction Industry Summit in Greenville, SC from July 29 – Aug. 1.

This event, held at the Hyatt Regency Downtown, will be highlighted by some of the nation’s most sought after speakers.

Nearly 500 attendees will come together for three days of educational sessions, special events and a trade show. “Win the war in life, leadership and politics” is the theme for this year’s major annual Summit and CAGC has amassed a star-studded speaker panel to wow audiences, CAGC announced in a news release.

Political power couple James Carville and Mary Matalin will headline the panel and will be accompanied by former U.S. Navy fighter pilot Carey ‘Vixen’ Lohrenz, communication expert Curt Steinhorst and political insider John Davis.

“In the world of naval aviation and the world of business, leaders must perform highly complex and high-pressure tasks in a constantly changing environment,” said Carey Lohrenz, former U.S Navy F-14 Pilot. “But no parallel asserted itself more strongly or more consistently than this one: High-performing teams require fearless leaders.”

In that spirit, CAGC created a conference aimed at providing construction industry workers and leaders tools to truly make a difference in their bottom line.

“We celebrate leadership in all facets of the construction industry,” said CAGC’s president and CEO, Dave Simpson. “Great leaders are a result of unique experiences, and our speaker panel is ready to arm attendees with the tools to take their business to the next level.”

Registration for the Construction Industry Summit is open to the public. The ticket price is $175, which also includes a breakfast buffet. Visit www.cagc.org for more details.

CAGC has been at the forefront of issues affecting the construction industry for over 90 years, with over 60 district meetings, local events and regional, large-scale conferences celebrating the industry and promoting positive development and change.
