Carolinas AGC’s board of directors announced that President and CEO Cynthia Mills will no longer lead CAGC after October 23, 2014.

“We appreciate all that Cynthia has done for our industry over the last five years. I appreciate her hard work, and it has been a pleasure to serve with her,” stated Cleve Paul, chair of the board.

Cynthia added: “We have spent five years working as a Board and staff team to give CAGC a stable foundation to build upon as the industry recovers from the economic downturn. I’m excited now about the new work I will be undertaking and look forward to hearing all the great things CAGC will accomplish in the future. It is always a privilege to serve.”

According to James Braswell, chair elect,Dave Simpson was named interim president and CEO and will work with Cynthia over the next few weeks as he transitions into his new position.

In January, Braswell plans for the board to lead a strategic session with those who expressed interest on the member survey, along with the CAGCF board, the division chairs and vice chairs, and the staff leadership team.
