The Associated Builders and Contractors Carolinas chapter has joined the lobbying effort against the National Labor Relations Board’s (NLRB) final ambush election rule, effective April 14, that the association says “drastically shortens the timetable for union representation elections and undermines employer free speech and due process rights.”

“This rule also strips your employees’ right to make an informed decision about union representation while violating their privacy by requiring employers to hand over employees’ home and work phone numbers and email addresses to union organizers,” ABC Carolinas said in a statement.

The association invites members and others totell your Senators to support S.J. Res. 8, which provides for congressional disapproval and nullification of the NLRB ambush election rule.
